Lantern Hollow

Lantern Hollow is a slow-burn adventure that trusts you to look around and think. You wander a fog-bound village, tap on objects, solve environmental puzzles, and slowly piece together what happened here. There's no timer and no pressure.

The art is the reason to play. Every scene is painted with care, and the muted color palette pulls you into the mood. The puzzles lean on observation rather than obscure logic, so you rarely feel stuck for the wrong reasons.

It's short, maybe four or five hours, but it stayed with me longer than that. It works offline the whole way through, which suits a game you'll want to play alone with headphones on.
